GOVERNOR MUTFWANG HOLDS STRATEGIC MEETING WITH APC CANDIDATES, ASPIRANTS TO STRENGTHEN UNITY AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTION
In a significant demonstration of political maturity, inclusive leadership and commitment to the unity and collective strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has convened a strategic engagement with APC candidates and aspirants who contested the party’s recent primaries.
The decision came with a firm resolve to reconcile differences, strengthen internal cohesion, deepen collaboration and forge a united front ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held at the New Government House, Rayfield, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, represents a deliberate and timely initiative by the Governor to promote greater understanding among critical stakeholders, address areas of concern and consolidate the party’s structures and support base across the state in preparation for the forthcoming elections.
The engagement provided a platform for constructive dialogue, reconciliation and strategic consultation, with particular emphasis on the need for party leaders, candidates, aspirants and stakeholders to rise above individual interests, heal existing differences, strengthen bonds of solidarity and place the collective interest of the party and the people of Plateau State above all other considerations.
The meeting further underscored the importance of mutual respect, inclusiveness and shared responsibility in building a formidable political organisation capable of advancing the aspirations of the people and securing a decisive victory for the APC in 2027.
