HON. PETER NYAM GAI,Eqs BIDS FAREWELL TO STAFF OF THE MINISTRY OF LANDS, SURVEY AND TOWN PLANNING

The Honourable Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Town Planning, Hon. Peter Nyam Gai, Esq., on Monday, 31st August 2026, bid farewell to the staff of the Ministry ahead of his resumption at his new ministry on 1st September 2026.

The farewell interaction brought together both the permanent and ad-hoc staff of the Ministry, providing an opportunity for the Honourable Commissioner to appreciate the staff for their support and commitment throughout his tenure.

Addressing the staff, Hon. Peter Nyam Gai encouraged them to remain dedicated to their duties and to extend even greater support and cooperation to the incoming Commissioner and the new management of the Ministry.

He urged the staff to embrace the new leadership with the same, or even greater, commitment, noting that the progress and success of the Ministry depend largely on the collective efforts, professionalism and cooperation of its workforce.

The Honourable Commissioner expressed his appreciation for the support, friendship and cooperation he received from the staff during his time in the Ministry. He also encouraged them to continue working together towards achieving the mandate and objectives of the Ministry.

In an emotional response on behalf of the ad-hoc staff, one of the staff members expressed deep appreciation for the Honourable Commissioner's fatherly disposition, kindness and concern for their welfare.

The staff member particularly acknowledged the Commissioner’s gesture towards improving the welfare of the ad-hoc staff, including the increment of their stipends, describing the gesture as one that demonstrated his genuine concern for their wellbeing.

He expressed that the ad-hoc staff would greatly miss the Honourable Commissioner and prayed that the Almighty God would continue to guide, protect and prosper him in his new place of assignment.

The farewell ended on a note of gratitude, goodwill and prayers, as staff wished Hon. Peter Nyam Gai, Esq. success and fulfilment in his new assignment, while pledging their continued commitment to the service of Plateau State.
