GOVERNOR MUTFWANG CONDOLES PLATEAU REFEREES COUNCIL OVER DEATH OF AWENG SOLOMON MARAM
The Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has commiserated with the Plateau State Referees Council (PSRC), and the Aweng family with deep sadness over the death of Aweng Solomon Maram, a member of the Referees Council who passed away in Abuja.
In a condolence message to the Plateau State Referees Council, Governor Mutfwang described the death as a painful loss to the football and refereeing community in the State.
The Governor acknowledged the contributions of the late Aweng Maram to the development and administration of football through his service as a referee, noting that his dedication and commitment to the growth of sports in Plateau State would be remembered by colleagues and associates.
Governor Mutfwang also extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, relatives, friends, colleagues and members of the Plateau State Referees Council, urging them to find strength and comfort in God at this difficult moment that their son played a vital role to boosting football, a unifying platform for growth and youth development.
He prayed God Almighty to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.
