PUBLIC NOTICE FROM THE JOS METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT BOARD (JMDB)

To all illegal occupants and squatters at the Gyartagere stone crushing site,  this serves as your final and definite notice to vacate the government owned Gyartagere stone crushing site immediately. 

 Over seven months ago, a clear directive was issued for all illegal occupants to vacate. There has been zero complaints instead, illegal construction has accelerated, threatening to turn the site into a slum and security risk.

 You are ordered to cease all construction and vacate the site within 48 hours of receiving this notice. Government will not be liable for any property lost during enforcement and no compensation will be paid if action is taken.

  Anyone with genuine claims can approach the office immediately. For the avoidance of doubt, this notice supersedes all previous communication.

  Similarly, the attention of all business owners and the general public that are using unapproved Kiosks, Canopies, Umbrellas, Makeshift stalls, car washes, car selling stands and any other form of temporary shelters along highways setbacks, roundabouts and reserved spaces in Plateau state is hereby prohibited. 

 Consequently, the affected individuals are hereby directed to vacate their current business spots within seven working days from the date of this notice. The general public are encouraged to comply fully with this directive, as defaulters will face appropriate sanctions in line with existing regulations. This exercise is aimed at restoring order, ensuring public safety and maintaining environmental sanity across the state.
