JOS SOUTH SSAs/SAs ENDORSE GOV. MUTFWANG FOR SECOND TERM, PRESENT AWARD OF EXCELLENCE TO EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, HON. SILAS PATRICK DUNG

History was made today as the Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) to the Executive Chairman of Jos South Local Government Area, Silas Patrick Dung, unanimously endorsed the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for a second term in office and also passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman of Jos South LGA, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung.

In their welcome remarks, the Deputy Coordinator of the appointees, Hon. Pam Vwos, and the Secretary, Engr. Joseph Dusu Pam, both emphasized the importance of appreciating leaders for jobs well done, which necessitated the endorsement of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for another tenure.

The Coordinator of the SSAs/SAs, Hon. Yusuf Bok Mwanti, highlighted key areas of development under the administration of the Executive Governor of Plateau State. He also commended the Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung, for giving them the opportunity to serve as appointees.
He stated that the appointees of Jos South LGA unanimously endorsed Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang in recognition of his outstanding leadership, visionary governance, and remarkable developmental strides across the 17 local government areas of Plateau State.

Hon. Yusuf Bok Mwanti further stated that, since assuming office, Governor Caleb Mutfwang has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to rebuilding Plateau State through people-oriented policies, infrastructural development, educational advancement, healthcare improvement, and the restoration of peace and unity among the diverse people of the state.
According to him, the leadership at both the state and local government levels has continued to inspire hope and confidence among citizens while laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth and prosperity. He particularly commended the Governor’s dedication to grassroots development, inclusive governance, and his determination to ensure that every part of Plateau State benefits from democratic dividends.

The Chairman of Jos South LGA, represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Rwang Joseph, commended the SSAs and SAs for appreciating and recognizing the efforts of leaders. He further applauded their sacrifices, coordination, and commitment in promoting the activities and achievements of the Chairman.

A staff member to the Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Gyang Davou Jatau, alongside Hon. Simon Dung Tibil, PSA to the Governor, both commended the appointees for speaking with one voice in endorsing the Governor and honouring the Chairman with an Award of Excellence.

Hajiya Sa’adatu Maisaje Wakili, from Bukuru ward, Special Assistant to the Chairman, and Ngo Mary Pwajok, from Dashonong ward, Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman, both stated that Governor Mutfwang’s leadership style has rekindled the trust of the people in governance and positioned Plateau State on the path of progress and transformation.
In the same vein, they passed a resounding vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung, for his exemplary leadership and impactful achievements within the Local Government Area. Under the administration of Hon. Silas Patrick Dung, Jos South LGA has witnessed significant improvements in infrastructure, security collaboration, community engagement, youth and women empowerment, rural development, and support for peace-building initiatives. His administration has remained committed to responsive governance, transparency, and the welfare of the people at the grassroots.

The appointees particularly applauded his efforts in promoting unity among communities, supporting developmental projects across wards, improving local administration, and maintaining a strong working relationship with traditional institutions, security agencies, and community stakeholders for the overall progress of Jos South.
Therefore, as appointees of Jos South LGA, they reaffirmed their total support, loyalty, and confidence in the leadership of Governor Caleb Mutfwang while also passing a vote of confidence on Hon. Silas Patrick Dung.

The Jos South Director of Research and Documentation, Pastor Gabriel Pam, applauded the efforts of the appointees for identifying with performance, excellence, and achievements.

The appointees further stated that Governor Mutfwang has shown genuine concern for the well-being of citizens through the revitalization of healthcare facilities, provision of medical equipment, upgrading of the Plateau State Specialist Hospital Laboratory, and the establishment of a functional Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency.

They also noted that the Governor has initiated and executed strategic road projects across the state, thereby opening up communities and easing transportation.
The appointees called on the good people of Plateau State and Jos South LGA to continue supporting the administration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang as he works tirelessly toward greater development, peace, and prosperity for all.
