BARR. PETER NYAM GAI, COMMITTED TO THE WELLBEING OF MEMBERS OF STAFF IN THE MINISTRY OF LANDS, SURVEY & TOWN PLANNING

Hon. Barr. Peter Nyam Gai, the Honourable Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Town Planning, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare and well-being of staff of the ministry by organizing a two-day medical outreach aimed at helping workers know their health status and also reducing the burden of healthcare expenses.

The medical outreach, which took place at the ministry, provided staff with the opportunity to undergo various medical examinations, consultations, and health checks conducted by professional healthcare personnel. The initiative was designed to promote healthy living, early detection of possible health challenges, and encourage workers to pay closer attention to their physical well-being while carrying out their official responsibilities.

Speaking during the exercise, the Honourable Commissioner, Barr. Peter Nyam Gai, stated that the outreach was organized in line with the “TIME IS NOW” mantra and people-oriented leadership of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, Governor of Plateau State, who has consistently prioritized the welfare of citizens and workers across the state.

Barr. Peter Nyam Gai emphasized that a healthy workforce remains an important pillar for productivity, efficiency, and quality service delivery in government institutions. According to him, workers who are healthy and medically fit are better positioned to contribute positively towards the growth and development of the ministry and the state at large.

The Commissioner also appreciated the medical team and partners who contributed to the success of the outreach, describing their support and professionalism as commendable.

Some staff members who benefited from the exercise expressed profound gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner for what they described as a thoughtful and timely intervention. They noted that the outreach has helped many workers to better understand their health conditions, while also easing the financial burden associated with medical check-ups and treatment.

The beneficiaries further applauded Barr. Peter Nyam Gai for his compassionate leadership style and continuous efforts towards improving staff welfare, praying for God’s wisdom and strength upon him as he continues to pilot the affairs of the ministry.

The successful conduct of the two-day medical outreach further highlights the ministry’s dedication to creating a healthy, productive, and motivated workforce in line with the developmental vision of the Plateau State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.

Signed:
Hon. Barr. Peter Nyam Gai Commissioner of lands survey and town planning, plateau State.
