THE IYALOJA GENERAL, DR. MRS TINUBU-OJO, VISITS GOVERNOR MUTFWANG, LAUDS PLATEAU HOSPITALITY

In a demonstration of solidarity and unwavering commitment to peace and unity in Plateau State, the Iyaloja General, Dr. Mrs. Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, has paid a courtesy visit to Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang at the Old Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos.

Mrs. Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressed appreciation to Governor Mutfwang and the people of Plateau State for their warm hospitality. She described Plateau as a land of divine blessings and prayed for the restoration of enduring peace and prosperity across the state.

During her visit, she also attended the inauguration of the Plateau State Executive Council of Women for Tinubu 2027, where she encouraged women to actively participate in politics as a means of contributing to sound decision-making and societal development.

She further described Governor Mutfwang as an elder brother, commending his leadership style, which she noted is marked by compassion, empathy, and devotion to God. She acknowledged the role of two prominent women groups, the Renewed Hope Advocates and Dynamic Women for Tinubu, in facilitating her visit and engagements in the state.

Mrs. Tinubu-Ojo lauded the women groups for their strategic initiatives and expressed gratitude to all who have supported her efforts, recognizing their sacrifices and assuring them of divine reward and strength.

In his response, Governor Mutfwang expressed profound appreciation for the visit, describing it as historic. He noted that Plateau State is blessed with resilient and hardworking women who continue to sustain the home front and contribute meaningfully to the state’s development. He added that the visit underscores the strengthening relationship between the First Family and the people of Plateau State.

“One thing that is very clear here on the Plateau is that our people have seen in Mr. President a friend, a benefactor, and a leader willing to liberate Plateau State from the challenges that have held it back. He is committed to enhancing security and promoting economic prosperity. By the grace of God, Plateau State will continue to demonstrate full solidarity with Mr. President.”

The Governor also appreciated her visit as a gesture of solidarity and a platform that brought together various women groups, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration ahead of future engagements.

“The next election will not be about competition, but about collaboration and teamwork. This is not a season to outshine one another, but a time to work together toward a common goal.”
Governor Mutfwang further revealed that the state government will soon launch a women empowerment programme aimed at strengthening livelihoods, expanding economic opportunities, and enhancing skills for sustainable development.,
