THE 2025 PLATEAU STATE GOVERNOR'S CUP REACHES QUARTER FINAL STAGE

The chairman, Plateau State Football Association (PFA), Hon. Dr. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, has confirmed that eight (8) local government teams are now battle ready to slog it out in the quarter finals stage of the 2025 Plateau State Governor's Cup Tagged "The Time is Now Soccer Fiesta".

In the final group stage matches played today at the Gss Laranto field in Jos, Nnamdi Sunday Prince scored a goal for Kanam LGC against Riyom LGC, to snatch the maximum three points for his side.

It was a dead rubber game at the St. Augustine Seminary Football Field where Quan-Pan LGC and Barkin Ladi LGC played a 2-2 draw not enough to qualify any of the two to the quarter finals.

It was Kanam 1-0 Riyom,
Quan-Pan 2-2 Barkin Ladi.

The quarter finals pairings will have;
Jos north vs Langtang South,
Bokkos vs Riyom,
Bassa vs Wase,
Kanam vs Mangu.

The Plateau State Governor's Cup is the highest state football competition with the participation of the seventeen local government councils of Plateau State.
