THE 2025 PLATEAU STATE GOVERNOR'S CUP ENTERS DAY THREE

The best of grassroots soccer on display today  as the Plateau State Governor's Cup Tagged "The Time is Now Soccer Fiesta" enters day three, with sixteen local government councils giving a good account of themselves on the pitch, at three different centers within Jos.

At the St. Augustine Seminary katako field, Bassa LGA walloped Mikang LGC by 4 unreplied goals from the boots of Anthony Elijah, Noah Mathew, Ojo Collins, and Tunde Bello.
While Kanke LGC defeated Langtang South 1-0.
A dingdong affair between Shendam LGC and Mangu LGC ended 0-0, while Istifanus Matur and Mashem Jerry gave Bokkos two goals to beat Pankshin 2-1, with Tosin Femi giving Pankshin a consolation goal in the encounter.

While at the St. Murumba college field, Jos East LGC held the defending champions Jos north LGC 2-2.
The game between two Plateau southern zone lions Langtang North LGC and Wase LGC ended 1-1.

The St. John's College field it was a northern zone derby where Riyom LGC humbled Barkin Ladi LGC 1-0.
While Kanam LGC beat Quan-pan LGC 1-0.

The PFA chairman, Hon. Dr. Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, and his board members were at all the centers to ensure proper organization and smooth administrative duties, as all the centers witnessed a good turnout of spectators.

Langtang North 1-1 Wase,
Shendam 0-0 Mangu,
Bokkos 2-1 Pankshin,
Mikang 0-4 Bassa,
Kanke 1-0 Langtang South,
Riyom 1-0 Barkin Ladi,
Kanam 1-0 Quan-Pan.
