DU COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO ACTING GWOM RWEY DU

The EXCO'S of Du Community Development Association (DCDA), today paid a courtesy visit to the new acting Gwom Rwey Du, His Royal Highness Da Emmanuel Nyam Pam Pogo at his Du residence.

President, DCDA Da Deacon Silas Pwajok Bot who spoke on behalf of the good people of Du, congratulates the highly revered monarch, HRH Da Emmanuel Nyam Pam Pogo on his appointment by the Jos Joint Traditional Council to oversee the affairs of Du Traditional Council as the Acting Gwom Rwey Du.

Da Silas Pwajok Bot also used the opportunity to formally present to the new Acting Gwom Rwey Du, a harmonized copy of the Du Bye-Laws, a working document containing legal subsidiary laws created by a combined committee of all registered Berom organizations in Du, to regulate specific matters of urgent public importance and activities within Du.

The leadership of DCDA, assured the Acting Gwom Rwey Du, of their full support through prayers, advice and loyalty.

Responding, HRH Da Emmanuel Nyam Pam Pogo expressed delight for the visit, and appreciates the leadership DCDA for laying down a good foundation for the development association, while encouraging the association to keep the pace and engage the community the more towards positive developments in the land.

The monarch who doubles as the Gwom Rwey Kabong, also used the opportunity to call on all sons and daughters of the land to make meaningful contributions to the Wurom Legacy Trust Fund, which recently signed an M.O.U with the National Institute for Policy and Strategy Studies (NIPSS) Kuru.
