DACHUNG BAGOS AT THE 2025 WORLD ANTI-CORRUPTION CONFERENCE IN OXFORD RHODES HOUSE, UK
Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, was among the African - Nigerian delegation at this year's World Anti - Corruption Conference held at the famous Oxford Rhodes House, United Kingdom.
Aside from being a politician, known for his stands with Plateau, favoured by God and widely accepted by people, Hon. Bagos is a respected personality across the globe, his vast knowledge in leadership and governance with integrity has made him a household name at home, and among the international community, traveling widely speaking at different forums, and high powered international conferences. Making him a treasured asset to Plateau, most especially the northern senatorial district.
Leading the Nigerian delegation, and one of the guest speakers at the international conference was chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu.
At the Oxford Anti - Corruption Conference, the ICPC chairman, advocated Global Corporate Integrity. He stated "Integrity is not a cost - it is an investment".
According to him, the ICPC continues to strengthen enforcement and preventive measures through prosecution of offenders, system reviews, and public education initiatives that promote transparency in governance and corporate conduct.
He reaffirmed the Commission’s readiness to collaborate with international partners, regulators, and the private sector to promote ethical business practices across borders.
“We are building a future where honesty is the norm in business, not the exception. This requires strong leadership, collaboration, and consistency,” he concluded.
The World Anti-Corruption Conference 2025, themed “United for Integrity: Innovation, Collaboration, and Accountability in the Fight Against Corruption,” brought together global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts from both developed and emerging markets to explore strategies for strengthening integrity in international business.
