CRUDAN APPLAUDS GOVERNOR MUTFWANG FOR PROMOTING INCLUSIVE AND COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE
The Christian Rural and Urban Development Association of Nigeria (CRUDAN) has commended Plateau State Governor, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for his inclusive approach to governance and unwavering support for humanitarian activities across the state.
Speaking during a Thank You Visit to the Government House, the Executive Director of CRUDAN, Mr. Joseph Lander Gyandi, lauded the Governor’s leadership, describing it as people centered and focused on strategic collaboration to improve the quality of life for citizens.
Mr. Gyandi particularly applauded the administration’s strides in the agricultural sector, especially the fertilizer engagement and distribution programme, which he noted has significantly boosted food production and enhanced economic growth in rural communities.
He reaffirmed CRUDAN’s commitment to complementing government efforts through peacebuilding, skills development, and humanitarian interventions that cut across religious and ethnic divides. “Our work is about serving humanity without boundaries, and we are eager to deepen our partnership with the government in empowering communities,” he said.
In his remarks, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang expressed profound appreciation for CRUDAN’s selfless service to the people of Plateau State, acknowledging its contributions to social cohesion, faith based development, and poverty alleviation.
“I want to thank CRUDAN for the burden you have carried for both our rural and urban communities, especially for people of faith,” Governor Mutfwang said. “Even more commendable is how you have reached across the divides of faith to touch lives this is truly remarkable.”
The Governor emphasized that the state’s greatest challenge is not only insecurity, but poverty, stressing that lifting people out of poverty remains central to his administration’s vision.“Anything we do to lift people out of poverty is part of the Gospel,” he stated.
Governor Mutfwang reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to strengthen partnerships with organizations like CRUDAN in promoting holistic development through culture, faith, and rural enterprise. He also recalled Plateau’s historic success in poultry breeding and called for renewed efforts to revive such initiatives through collaboration and innovation. “Let us continue to engage and build together for a better Plateau.”
