NMGS PRESIDENT,MS. ROSE CHUNDUNG NDONG HONOURED

President of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS),
Ms. Rose Chundung Ndong, honoured with an award by the Fellowship of Nigerian Association For Engineering Geology and the Environment (NAEGE).

The body recognizes the outstanding contributions of Ms. R.C Ndong to the Nigerian Geosciences.
Decorated with this new honour, her dedication to advancing Nigeria's extractive industries is evident.

It is on record to Note that NAEGE President, Dr. Waliu Olukayode Adeolu is the only NAEGE President to have awarded fellowship honours to three NMGS Presidents, making it the highest ranking, and highlighting his contributions to engineering geology and environmental Geoscience.

Ms. Rose Chundung Ndong, since becoming NMGS President, which is an umbrella body of geosciences professionals in Nigeria, has ensured NMGS promotes best practices in engineering geology, geotechnics, and environmental geoscience.
This award is also a testament of her commitment to advancing geotechnical practices for sustainable development.
