KWANDE SOLOMON DAWAL HONOURED AS HEALTH SECURITY MAN OF THE YEAR 2025
In recognition of his outstanding leadership in strengthening healthcare systems and advancing health security in Plateau State, the Director General of the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA), Dr. Kwande Solomon Dawal, has been named and awarded the Health Security Man of the Year at the 2025 Security and Peace Awards.
The award, convened by the First Samaritan Love Foundation, celebrates individuals and institutions whose work contributes to peace, stability, and the security of communities. Dr. Kwande’s honour highlights his tireless efforts in expanding access to affordable healthcare, fortifying the State’s social health insurance scheme, and ensuring that healthcare delivery remains a cornerstone of social security in Plateau State.
Accepting the award, Dr. Dawal dedicated the recognition to the people of Plateau, noting that health security is not only about providing medical care but also about ensuring stability, resilience, and hope for communities.
