UNION WORKERS PLEDGE SUPPORT FOR NEW PLASCHEMA DG

Members of the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA) Branch of the Medical and Health Workers Union have pledged their full support to the newly appointed Director-General of PLASCHEMA, Dr. Solomon Dawal Kwande. The assurance was given during a courtesy visit to the agency’s headquarters on Monday, August 25, 2025.

The DG and his management team received the delegation led by the Union Chairman, Miss Kate Dabang, alongside the Vice President, Mr. Sarpiya Stephen; Secretary, Mr. Kim Tiri; Trustee, Mr. Simon Samuel; and Spokesperson, Mr. Ezekiel Dakil.

In her remarks, the Chairman congratulated Dr. Kwande on his appointment, describing it as well-deserved. She pledged the Union’s maximum cooperation and readiness to work hand-in-hand with the management team. On behalf of the members, she also presented the DG with a congratulatory letter and a roll-up banner.

Adding his voice, the Union Trustee, Mr. Simon Samuel, appealed to the DG to sustain PLASCHEMA’s tradition of prioritizing staff welfare.

Responding, Dr. Kwande expressed appreciation for the visit and assured that staff welfare would remain a top priority under his leadership. He emphasized the importance of discipline and innovation within the workforce and called for continuous prayers for wisdom to effectively steer the agency forward.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment from both management and the Union to work collaboratively towards strengthening public healthcare delivery and enhancing staff welfare in Plateau State.

The Chairman of Plateau Football Association (PFA), Hon.
