GOVERNOR MUTFWANG CONDOLES DAKWAK FAMILY OVER PASSING OF MATRIARCH

The Executive Governor of Plateau State,  His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Mama Ruth Sati Dakwak, mother of the President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Blessing Dalyop Dakwak.

Leading a delegation to the family residence in Jos, Governor Mutfwang described the late matriarch as a virtuous woman who lived a fulfilled life and raised children that continue to uphold her values.

“Death is painful, but when we live long to a ripe age, we must also say, thank you, Lord. Every day we have to live is a privilege, and when God allows us to reach old age, we can only look back and be grateful for the opportunity,” the Governor remarked.

He praised Mama Ruth Sati Dakwak’s enduring legacy, noting that her life bore fruits evident in the achievements of her children.

“I believe Mama lived a good life. The evidence is in the children she has left behind. If she hadn’t done so, they would not have risen to where they are today. Certainly, death will always leave a void, but that vacuum can only be filled by the good Lord. For those of us alive, it is also a time to reflect on our own lives, correct our mistakes, and ensure that when our turn comes, we will not be found wanting,” he added.

Governor Mutfwang encouraged the family to take solace in the enduring memories of their mother and the values she instilled, while praying for God’s strength and comfort for them at this time of loss.

Responding on behalf of the family, Justice Yakubu Pam Dakwak, former Chief Judge of Plateau State, expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for his presence and words of comfort during their bereavement.

The condolence visit was witnessed by senior government officials, members of the judiciary, traditional rulers, and community representatives, who joined the Governor in consoling the Dakwak family.
