GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF PLATEAU STATE, BARR. CALEB MANASSEH MUTFWANG, TO YOUTHS IN PLATEAU STATE ON THE OCCASION OF THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION

On this auspicious occasion of the International Youth Day, celebrated under the theme "Local Youth Action For The SDGs And Beyond", I join the rest of the world in saluting the vibrant, talented, and resilient youths of Plateau State. This year’s theme is a call to action, reminding us that real progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) begins with bold, innovative, and community-driven efforts led by young people.

Since assuming office, we have placed the youth at the heart of our development agenda, offering strategic appointments, creating skills-building opportunities, and opening new frontiers for innovation. From transforming the Nigeria Standard building into a world-class ICT Hub, to reviving BARC Farms for modern agribusiness, we are building platforms for you to lead, create, and compete on the global stage. These initiatives are more than projects, they are investments in your dreams, your future, and the prosperity of Plateau State.

These and other youth-focused initiatives reflect our unwavering belief that the progress of Plateau State rests in the hands of its young people.

On this International Youth Day, I urge you to remain steadfast, innovative, and committed to the values of hard work, unity, and peace. Let us work together to ensure that Plateau’s youth-led actions contribute meaningfully to the attainment of the SDGs and beyond so we can build a future that is prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable.
