PARENTS, TEACHERS AND WELL-WISHERS CELEBRATE WITH GRADUATING CLASS AT GSS KYAN-RIKKOS

It was a moment to remind everyone why we must keep investing in our children, as Government Junior/Senior Secondary School Kyan-Rikkos, in Jos north LGC of Plateau State celebrated their 2025 graduating students in a grand style.

The 2025 Graduation/Speech Prize Giving Day event at GJSS/GSSS Kyan-Rikkos witnessed the presence of dignitaries from the community and other places, including community leaders and well-wishers who came to rejoice with the students, and the school management for organizing such an event.

The Principal, GSSS Kyan-Rikkos, Mrs Rahila Nanbam Dafiak was filled with Joy as she dances to every beat of the drums at the event. In her welcome address, she reminded the graduating class, that they are stepping into a world of endless possibilities, it is not about where they finished from, but how willing they are to keep learning and adapting to new challenges out there.
While the principal GJSS, Maryanne Mark advised the graduating students to be of good character, and never allow negative peer group influence to distract them.

The school's vice principal, Mr. Rengman S. Rohop who is also the school's Agricultural Science teacher, made a personal effort to reward the best agric student of the class.
Mrs Gloria Medeyese, form teacher of SS3 graduating class who put a lot of effort for her students, could not hide her joy, as she kept dancing to the rhythm of the music together with her students.

Goodwill messages came from the PTA chairman - Mr Okomayin, representative of the commissioner for education, representative from the Jos north education area office, the Zonal director, community leaders - Adagwom Waziri and the village head of Kyan-Rikkos, Adagwom Itsegok.

One of the most memorable moments was the celebration of Goodness O. Akachukwu who emerged as the overall best graduating student of the school, Nathaniel Azi came second while John Eson came third.
