GOVERNOR MUTFWANG CONDOLES WITH DAJU FAMILY OVER LOSS OF THEIR SON

Plateau State Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, Ms. Kachollom Daju, and the entire Daju family following the passing of their beloved son and brother, Mr. Mafeng Daju, who departed this life on July 16, 2025.

Governor Mutfwang, accompanied by the former Military Administrator of Plateau State, Rear Admiral Samuel Bitrus Atukum (rtd), paid a condolence visit to the Abuja residence of the deceased to commiserate with the bereaved family during their time of mourning.

Conveying his condolences, Governor Mutfwang described the passing of Mafeng Daju as both painful and deeply distressing.

“Death remains a debt that all mortals must pay,” the Governor said. “Yet, the loss of a loved one always leaves a void that no words can truly fill. I pray that God, in His infinite mercy, will grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and bring divine comfort to your hearts.”

He encouraged the family to take solace in their faith and in the knowledge that God’s grace is ever sufficient, even in the darkest hours of grief.

Responding on behalf of the family, Ngo Simi Daju expressed profound appreciation to Governor Mutfwang for his thoughtful visit and comforting words.

“Your Excellency, your presence here today, alongside Rear Admiral Atukum, has brought immense consolation to our hearts. Your compassion, humility, and personal touch continue to endear you not only to the Daju family but also to the people of Plateau State,” she said.

She further noted that the Governor’s visit was a source of strength and a testament to his enduring empathy and humaneness, especially during moments of sorrow.
