DU COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION VISITS GWOM KABONG, REAFFIRMS LOYALTY, SUPPORT AND PRAYERS

In a gesture of goodwill, respect and loyalty, the officials of Du Community Development Association (DCDA), on behalf of Du Traditional Council, Elders, Sons and Daughters of the land, today paid courtesy visit to the new Gwom Kabong, Da Emmanuel Nyam Pam Pogol, at his palace in Kabong, Jos North LGC, Plateau State.

The visit was aimed at congratulating the new revered monarch of Kabong, in Jos North LGC, Da Emmanuel Nyam Pam Pogol, on his ascension to the throne of his forefathers, to also show loyalty and support to the Monarch's vision and leadership.

President of DCDA, Da Silas Pwajok Bot, prayed God to bless the Monarch with good health, and grant him the wisdom of king Solomon, because his emergence as the Gwom Kabong was divine. The president also briefed the traditional ruler of the association's goals, objectives and present challenges in the land.

Da Silas Pwajok Bot, who also doubles as the chairman of Berom Districts Development Associations (BDDA), further appreciatesh the Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang,  for identifying with traditional institutions in the state and working with Development Associations across Plateau.

While the vice president of Du Community Development Association, Barr. Pam Gyang Davou, expressed joy for the emergence of Da Emmanuel Pam Pogol, as the new Gwom Kabong in Jos north, trusting God that has prepared him for this kingship will certainly use him mightily in Jos north and Plateau State at large.

Responding, the new Gwom Kabong, Da Emmanuel Nyam Pam Pogol, appreciates the Jos Joint Traditional Council, Plateau State Government, Jos north LGC, and the entire Plateau people for their prayers, support and solidarity.
He called for unity across the state irrespective of tribe and  religion, stressing the need for unity, collaboration and harmonious living which promotes peaceful coexistence, and meaningful development.

An illustrious son of the land, and one time council secretary of Jos North LGC, Da Samuel Chollom, was also at the palace of Gwom Kabong together with DCDA Exco's.
In attendance at the Gwom Kabong palace were; The DCDA secretary - Damanjei to Dagyang Rwang, DCDA financial secretary - Rwas Pam Jang, and DCDA PRO III - Rwas Jimmy Pam Jerry.
