WE ARE A DIVINELY FAVOURED TEAM AND HOLD A RESPONSIBILITY OF THANKSGIVING TO THE MOST HIGH ( PLATEAU UNITED GENERAL MANAGER ASSERTS IN POST SEASON THANKSGIVING SERVICE)
The convergence of Staff( playing and non playing), Technical and management staff of Plateau United FC on COCIN LCC Wildlife Park in jos, provided colour, excitement and an atmosphere of gratitude to God at the culmination of the Npfl25 season inspite of challenges faced.
Plateau United General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla led staff and management in a thanksgiving service that featured moments of sober reflection and gratitude.
According to Mutla, as a result of divine travel and onfield safety granted the teams ( Men's, youth and women's respectively) across the 36 states of the country amid challenging security situations, the need for thanksgiving becomes a top priority.
Habila Mutla added that the fortunes of the three teams blossomed this past season with the youth team emerging top of the standings in the Northern conference of the ongoing NYOUTH LEAGUE CUP with playoffs in view.
The women's team stood out as the top ranked team in Northern women's Amateur football following their recent victory in Jos while the Men's team finished seventh in npfl25 to rank as the best team across Northern Nigeria.
The football Administrator charged parents to encourage gifted girls to go into football since they cannot get to the most financially rewarding clubs across Europe and other parts of the globe until they start here amidst submission that football is a highly detribalised and religiously inclusive venture.
Leading Reverend,COCIN LCC Wildlife Park, Pam Dashwei Bot received the team with gladness, saying thanksgiving is a major criteria for tapping God's divine blessings.
Mrs Jummai Ayizeh,wife of the Associate Pastor, delivered the sermon which pointed attention to a growing church looking into the welfare of each other, charging Christians to live a life of generosity while praying for open doors for Plateau United FC,staff and associates.
Following thanksgiving rituals and sermon, leading Reverend COCIN LCC Wildlife Park, Pam Dashwei Bot administered the distribution of Bibles to Players and staff of Plateau United FC as a charge to enhance the propagation of the gospel across borders.
Meantime, following the Culmination of thanksgiving rituals at the Cocin LCC Wildlife Park in Jos, arrangements are currently underway to ensure the replication of same in a Juma'at prayer to accommodate the Muslim faithfuls of Plateau United FC.
Also in attendance was the Assistant General Manager, Plateau United FC, Danjuma Isandu, the Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, members of management and technical teams all accompanied by their families for the history defining event.
