STUDENTS OF GJSS/GSS RIKKOS ON EXCURSION MEETS GOV. CALEB MUTFWANG

On Monday 21st October, 2024 students of Government Junior Secondary School Kyan-Rikkos visited the Yakubu Gowon Airport Heipang and the Plateau Radio Television Corporation (PRTVC) Jos for an educational trip.

The excursion exercise was organized by the department of social sciences of the school, meant for Jss 2 and Jss 3 students respectively to further widen their horizon towards learning, making them to get some experience outside the school/classroom environment and to also expose the students academically so as to prepare them for the future as stated by the Head of Department Social Sciences, Mrs Pigya Mancha.
The vice principal of the school and head of the excursion team, Mr Rengman Saidu Rohop aka The Digital VP was satisfied with the educational visit under the supervision of Mr. Rotkang Gotom.

The principal GJSS, Mariann Mark and her counterpart in the senior section Mrs Rahila Nanbam Dafyak both appreciates the entire parents for allowing their children to participate fully and experience the excursion exercise which will build the students academically giving them memories beyond the walls of the classroom.

During the excursion exercise at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, the students were privileged to meet with the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Bar. Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang who was coming back from Abuja. To many of the students they were able to see the governor face to face at close range as he smile while  greeting the students.
