DATE FOR NZEM BEROM 2024 FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED

Today at the GbongGwom Jos Palace in Jishe Jos. The GbongGwom Jos, His Majesty Da Jacob Gyang Buba CFR, chairman Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs together with the Jos Joint Traditional Council hosted the 2024 Nzem Berom Central Planning Committee under the chairmanship of Distinguished senator Simon Mwadkon Fwet.

The Central Planning Committee submitted a draft copy of the 2024 Nzem Berom Activities to the Traditional Council which was unanimously accepted and approved by the Traditional Council.

Coordinator General of the 2024 Nzem Berom festival and BECO President worldwide, Da Gyang Dudu, vice chairperson of the committee, Ngo Sarah Reng Ochekpe both took time to explain the draft copy containing the rich cultural activities of the Berom people as outlined by the committee which will commence on the 25th of April in all the four (4) Berom Local Government Councils including Aboro in Kaduna state.

Riyom LGC/Aboro - The GbongGwom Jos will meet with the people.

✓29th April, 2024
Barkin Ladi LGC (Gwol) - The GbongGwom Jos meet with the people.

✓2nd May, 2024
Jos North LGC - The GbongGwom Jos meet with the people.

✓6th May, 2024
Jos South LGC - The GbongGwom Jos meet with the people.

✓7th - 9th April, 2024
Medical Outreach @ Vom Christain Hospital, Vwang Jos South LGC.

✓10th May, 2024
Muslim Prayers to be determined by our Berom Muslim brothers and sisters.

✓13th May, 2024
Solemn assembly, fasting and prayers by all Beroms from 6a.m - 12noon @ Ten Commandments Dwei-Du.
We will all break the fast there at the 10 commandments.

Colloquium @ Tamarald event centre OR Langfield, Rayfield Jos.

The Chairman of Plateau Football Association (PFA), Hon. Dr. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande yesterday led a group of Plateau State foreign based players to pay homage to His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang. The courtesy visit was indeed a historic moment being the first time a group of Plateau State footballers based abroad will come together to pay a courtesy call on the Chief Executive, discussing their future and seeking guidance in their careers.
