HALLELUJAH JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN, EXERCISING HIS POWER OVER DEATH - SEN. SIMON MWADKWON PhD

HALLELUJAH JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN, EXERCISING HIS POWER OVER DEATH - SEN. SIMON MWADKWON PhD

Today we are commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World.
His resurrection connotes His victory and power over death which He overcame.
Jesus Christ in His supernatural power conquered death bringing to fulfillment God's plan of salvation and redemption to Mankind.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is vital to Christians and the Christian race without which our faith would have been in vain. It is an accomplishment of God's ultimate redemption plan for Mankind. Jesus because the sacrificial Lamb for Mankind to be saved and redeemed from sin that has held them captive.

Easter is a period of celebrating God's love and continuous demonstrating same to People we come across in life.
Through the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God granted us freedom from sins.
Jesus Christ commissioned us to be winners of souls and we should not fail in carrying out the Great Commission of God.

Our good works should draw others closer to God Almighty and glorify Him. This we can do by making our light shine at all times.

I wish to charge Christians to emulate Jesus Christ and live peacefully with others including those who are not same faith with them.
May I equally charge Nigerians to pray for the Country, leaders at all levels and not to relent in contributing their quota to national unity, peace and prosperity.

Happy Easter Celebration to all Christians across the World.

Sen. Simon Mwadkwon
Former Senate Minority Leader
