The Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on Wednesday paid a solemn visit to Kawel Community in Mushere Chiefdom of Bokkos Local Government Area following the gruesome attack of Sunday, June 21, 2026, which claimed the lives of 23 innocent citizens and left one other injured. Governor Mutfwang, represented by his deputy, was accompanied by top government officials, who expressed profound grief over the tragic incident and conveyed the Government and people of Plateau State's condolences to the bereaved families and the entire Mushere nation. The Vice President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), National Body, Activist Nanchang Peter Temlong, paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Provost of the College of Health Technology, Zawan, Mr. Ishaku Atangs, in his office and inducted him into the NANS Hall of Fame as a Five-Star Aluta General. The visit formed part of the NANS Vice President's familiarisation tour of tertiary institutions across Plateau State and other parts of the country.
